The island has built up its golf scene over the past couple of years with three golf courses ‘Salinas de Antigua’, ‘Fuerteventura Golf’ and a third course all within minutes of each other, offering variety for golfers who require more than the one challenging course to make a golfing holiday worth while.

Salinas de Antigua

The Salinas de Antigua golf course has 18 holes and is a par 70. Made of low ridges and dunes that protect it from the challenging wind, together with desert areas and four lakes, the course is designed in such a way that players need to apply not only their technique but also their capacity for strategy.

Designed by Manolo Piñero - two times world champion, the course has been developed with the end user in mind, the golfer who wants to play all year round.
A driving range is also available complete with bunker, for practice or lessons, individually or as a group. A practice putting green is available to all players.

Fuerteventura Golf

Fuerteventura Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 70 of 6.069 meters from the men's championship tee. There are three large lakes with a stream that meanders between them. The course is basically flat with the exception of the 17 hole. This hole is a par 5, gently climbs to a well-protected green on the eighteenth, a par 4, is downhill dogleg to the Clubhouse.

Buggy paths connect all holes. The practise facility is a 50-bay driving range; a large putting green and second green for chipping and bunker shots. Professional tuition is available in several languages.

The clubhouse includes a large pro-shop; changing rooms with lockers; a club storage area, and bar, cafeteria and restaurant. Buggies, trolleys and clubs are available for hire. There is an outside terrace and garden area.
